That's right but Why are you developing Java?
C is a great language, as Python, PHP, perl, groovy, scala...
The next BIG language will be Javascript.
because have a great community beside, and I think those servers JEE are best
On the other hand pay more at least in this region :-)
mono project is another option, some projects of linux using it
Docky and Tomboy are implemented in Mono, and are great apps.
Remember money can't buy all... sometimes you need a credit card ;)
